Unsteady is book 3 in the On Solid Ground series
It can be read as a standalone but I definitely recommend you read the other books, they are amazing reads
After reading and loving the other two books, I was really looking forward to diving into Micah's story
Wow... I did not expect this book to be so emotional
Damn, poor Micah and Jude... these guys have one rough journey...which I truly felt for them, it was so lovely seeing these guys get through everything and finally after years of heartache finding their happy ever after..... they are so perfect for each other
I really love these guys... the only thing I didn't like was a choice Jude made, he just ran away from a really important thing (im trying to not add spoilers)... I was shouting at him, like how could he do that!!!
I mean yeah, ok, so he was in a really bad place and needed to sort himself out but he like cuts all contact... nope I did not agree!!
So yeah he kinda peed me off at that point, but then I started to see how truly broken/lost he was and I just couldn't help but love him
Micah... oh poor Micah, he hasn't had he traumatic stuff Jude has, but he still hasn't had it easy.
Then the one guy he truly loves... just breaks his heart
Poor Micah really deserved his happy ever after
Unsteady is not a fluffy, easy read.. its full of emotion, heartbreak and has two beautifully broken guys
I absolutely loved every word, its totally worth the watery eyes I got from reading it :)
I cant recommend this author and book enough, Melissa is a very talented lady
Her writing is flawless and her words come to life on the pages
A heartbreakingly beautiful 4.5 star read

Melissa Collins has always been a book worm. Studying Literature In college ensured that her nose was always stuck in a book. She followed her passion for reading to the most logical career choice: English teacher. Her hope was to share her passion for reading and the escapism of books to her students. Having spent more than a decade in front of a classroom, she can easily say that it’s been a dream. Her passion for writing didn’t start until more recently. When she was home on maternity leave in early 2012, she read her first romance novel and her head filled with the passion, angst and laughter of the characters who she read about it. It wasn’t long before characters of her own took shape in her mind. Their lives took over Melissa’s brain and The Love Series was born.
